Nepal Mountain Academy will be eligible to apply for up to 25% of the scholarship in the tuition fee if they meet the following criteria:
1. the applicant must be the child of the mountain climber who has lost his/her life or has been physically impaired while mountain climbing.
2. The applicant must be the child of the mountain climbers who have successfully climbed mountains including Mt. Everest and other peaks that are above 8000 meters more than 5 times.
2. The applicant must be the child of a certified and licensed IFMGA Guide who has a minimum work experience of 7 years.
Out of the eligible applicants for the scholarships, 2 male and 2 female students along with 1 male and 1 female student from Garma, Solukhumbu-1, which is the location for the training center of Nepal Mountain Academy (currently under construction) will be awarded the academic scholarship.
